Holographic anomalous chiral current near a boundary

Due to the Weyl anomaly, an axial vector field produces novel anomalous chiral currents in spacetime with boundaries. Remarkably, current is not invariant under gauge transformation of fields. As a result, more potential terms appear, and becomes larger than electric near boundary. This paper investigates AdS/BCFT. We find that minimal holographic model cannot produce expected current. To resolve this problem, we propose adding suitable boundary action. Furthermore, notice similar situation for condensation. Finally, obtain shape dependence verify it agrees field-theoretical result.
